It is a condition of grant aid under the farm modernisation scheme that the application for the grant is made to the farm development service before the investment is made.
As the applicant did not comply with this condition he is not eligible for a grant.

(Wexford) asked the Minister for Agriculture when a headage grant payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford.
The person named was paid the first instalment of his 1981 ewe premium on 30 September 1981 and will be paid the second instalment when the exact amount can be determined after the end of the EEC marketing year in April 1982.
