Vol. 331 No. 4

Written Answers. - Dublin Dwellings Erection.

623.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make a decision on the tenders submitted by Dublin Corporation for the erection of dwellings at Beechill Avenue, Powers Court-Stephens Lane, Queens Terrace and South Brown Street, Dublin.

Dublin Corporation were informed by my Department on 24 November 1981 that there is no objection to their proposals to accept tenders for the erection of housing schemes at Queen's Terrace and South Brown Street.

As regards the tender proposals for the schemes at Beech Hill Avenue and Powers Court- Stephens' Lane, it was necessary to ask the corporation to furnish certain additional technical information to enable these proposals to be properly examined in my Department. The required technical particulars were received in my Department on 18 November 1981 and are being examined. Replies in these cases will issue to the corporation as soon as practicable.
