Vol. 331 No. 5

Written Answers. - Postal Delay.

21.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reason letters posted in Leinster House, Dublin on a Thursday are not delivered in Donegal until the following Tuesday; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Depending on the time of collection from Leinster House, letters posted there on Thursday should, in normal circumstances, secure general delivery in the Donegal area the next day or on Monday of the following week. If the Deputy will let me have particulars of cases where Thursday postings were not delivered until the following Tuesday, I shall be glad to have them investigated.
