asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the action, if any, he is taking to solve the problem at Brian Boru Street sorting office, Cork, and to restore normal postal deliveries immediately.

The unofficial industrial action was called off on 19 November, and all arrears of mail have been cleared. My Department had, of course, been in continuous contact from the beginning with the staff union concerned with a view to securing an end to this action.
