A children's allowance book with orders cashable from October 1981 in respect of the claimant's 17-year-old son was issued on 4 December 1981. A payable order for £27.00, the amount of arrears due to September 1981 has been issued. I regret that the allowance for this child was overlooked when the allowance books were being renewed in July 1981.
