asked the Minister for the Environment the proposal his Department have in relation to the proposed mid-Galway group water scheme.

The headworks for this group water scheme will be provided by the Mid-Galway (Stage 1) Regional Scheme, tenders for which have recently been approved by my Department. An early meeting will now be arranged between my Department's inspector for the area, Galway County Council sanitary services engineers and the design engineer to finalise drawings for the group scheme.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position in relation to the proposed group water scheme at Derrydonnel, County Galway.

This scheme is dependent for a water supply on Zone 3 of the Mid-Galway Regional Water Supply Scheme the preliminary report for which was received in my Department on 23 November 1981 and is at present under examination.
