The reverend chairman of the board of management was authorised to instal thermal storage heating but instead he installed oil-fired central heating without seeking prior authorisation to do so. The work was inspected and found to be deficient in some respects. The reverend manager was asked to have the outstanding items attended to and to submit vouchers of cost. To date these vouchers have not been received and, pending their receipt, an interim payment of grant will be made.
