Vol. 331 No. 12

Written Answers. - Passport Applications.

266.

(Dublin North-West) asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the number of applications for Irish passports by Irish nationals living in Zimbabwe; the number of passports issued; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Foreign Affairs (Professor Dooge)

No distinction is made between passport applications received from Irish citizens living in Zimbabwe and those received in Dublin or from any other country abroad. No figures are therefore available of the actual number of passports issued to Irish citizens living in Zimbabwe.
