Vol. 331 No. 12

Written Answers. - Galway Driving Test Centres.

348.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he is aware that his Department have discontinued the motor testing regional status of Galway; and if he will have this decision reversed as a matter of urgency.

A temporary arrangement made in June 1980 for supervision of the operation of driving test centres in the Galway area has been reviewed in the normal course of deployment of staff to meet fluctuations in demand for tests. Such arrangements confer no special status on any particular test centre.

Question No. 349 postponed.
