asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will give a breakdown of a telephone bill received by a person (details supplied) in Dublin.

The breakdown is as follows:—

Rental £20.60; Operator assisted calls £2.49; Local and STD calls £241.68; Arrears brought forward from October/December 1981 Account £9.40. Due to a clerical error there was an overcharge of £228.55 in respect of local and STD calls and this is being adjusted.

It is expected that service will be provided within about six months.

It is expected that service will be provided in about a month.

It has not been possible to trace an application on behalf of the person named. If the Deputy could furnish additional information about the application, e.g., when and where it was made, further efforts will be made to trace it.
