I have not received an application from the person referred to in the question. If an application is received I will consider it in accordance with the provisions of the Casual Trading Act, 1980 or the Occasional Trading Act, 1979 as the case may be. If the Casual Trading Act applies, the extent to which the local authority have exercised their powers under the Act would also be taken into account.
