The Land Commission hold some 125 hectares of developed, and 150 hectares of undeveloped bog in Connemara.
The developed turbary consists of 230 plots scattered widely around the area and already let for this season, together with a further 100 plots available for letting at Inverin.
The undeveloped bog is situated in the townlands of Ardderoo (40 hectares) and Derreen (110 hectares).
