The person named has applied to An Bord Iascaigh Mhara for loan and grant facilities for the purchase of a fishing vessel. As the board have adequate funds available for grant aid, the grant can be paid following completion of the vessel to the satisfaction of the board's surveyors.
With regard to the loan facilities sought, as the allocation made to the board from the Exchequer by way of repayable advances for 1982 is already fully committed, it is not possible at present to accommodate the applicant in question.
