Payment of the grant is awaiting a reply from the applicant to a communication sent to him from the local office of the Department.

The person named will be paid his 1981 EEC suckler cow premium shortly. Payments under this scheme commenced on 30 April 1982.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the present position in relation to an application for a ewe subsidy by a person (details supplied) in County Galway.
The person named was paid the first instalment of the EEC Scheme of Premiums for Good Quality Ewes 1981-82 on 30 September 1981. The second instalment will be paid to all applicants as soon as EEC approval is obtained for payment.
An application in respect of the EEC Scheme of Premiums for Good Quality Ewes 1982-83 and the 1982 Sheep Headage Scheme in Disadvantaged Areas has been received from the person named and his flock will be inspected in due course.
