As the Deputy is probably aware, a receiver has been appointed to Galway Textile Printers. He is legally entitled to dispose of the plant and equipment if he so wishes and the Deputy will understand I have no legal function in the matter.
However I can tell the Deputy that the receiver has agreed to delay acceptance of an offer for the plant and equipment in order to enable the IDA to consider a takeover proposal.
