Vol. 336 No. 5

Written Answers. - County Tipperary Post Office.

584.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs his Department's present policy in relation to the post office at Nine Mile House, Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary; and the future plans, if any, he has in respect of the manual exchange there.

Present policy does not envisage any change so far as the post office at Nine Mile House is concerned. However, it is expected that the manual telephone exchange, which has been transferred to premises in Grangemockler, will be converted to automatic working during the first half of next year.
