Vol. 336 No. 5

Written Answers. - Dublin School Fire Alarm System.

700.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the concern of some parents at the inadequacy of the fire alarm system at Navan Road primary school, Dublin 7; if so, if he will make funds available to have a proper fire alarm system installed; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Commissioners of Public Works who are my Department's technical advisers in relation to primary school buildings have been asked to investigate as a matter of urgency the position regarding the existing fire alarm system at the Navan Road primary school and to furnish my Department with a report and recommendation.
