Under devolved procedures local authorities may build schemes of up to 60 houses or less without my prior sanction subject to a number of requirements, including agreement to unit costs and keeping within the available capital allocation. The question of my sanction to this scheme does not, therefore, arise.
However, I have allocated a sum of £100,000 to Tipperary Urban District Council on 2 June 1982 to enable work to commence on this scheme this year.
