Vol. 336 No. 5

Written Answers. - Dublin Hospital Bus Service.

475.

asked the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works will allow a bus service to enter the Phoenix Park to service visitors to the staff of St. Mary's Hospital there; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

In 1980 the authorities of St. Mary's Hospital, Phoenix Park, were granted permission to operate a mini-bus service between the Chapelizod Gate of the park and the hospital for staff and visitors to the hospital.

The operation of larger buses over the narrow park roads could not be allowed as it would constitute a serious traffic hazard.
