I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that they have provided two 3,000 sq.ft. factory units in Cahir. These factories together with the IDA's six acre site in the town, are being actively promoted for suitable small industrial projects. In 1981 six overseas industrialists were brought by the IDA to visit Cahir.
