Vol. 336 No. 7

Written Answers. - Cahir Educational Needs.

486.

asked the Minister for Education if he will build a new vocational school at Cahir, County Tipperary as the pupils there are at an unfair disadvantage in that their accommodation is grossly substandard, damp, cold and overcrowded and as a site is available.

An application received recently from County Tipperary (South Riding) Vocational Education Committee for permission to replace the existing vocational school building in Cahir with a new school building is currently under examination in my Department. This examination will be completed shortly and a decision will then be conveyed to the committee as soon as possible.
