asked the Minister for Education the location of each pre-fabricated classroom in use at national schools in County Meath; and the date on which it first came into use.

asked the Minister for Education if there are any schools in County Meath where prefabricated classrooms are in use where either (a) there are no plans to replace them or (b) the plans have not passed the stage of completion of working drawings.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 491 and 503 together.

According to the records of my Department prefabricated classrooms were provided at the following primary and post-primary schools in County Meath:

I am not of the opinion that the use of pre-fabricated classrooms in suitable circumstances causes pupils to be at any educational disadvantage.
