asked the Minister for Education if he will give the following information for the postal districts, Dublin 2, 4, 6 and 8: (1) the number of second level schools within those districts; (2) the name and address of each school; (3) the principal and manager of each school; (4) the religious denomination, if any, to which the school is attached; (5) the legal status, i.e. whether it is run by the VEC, a private company or religious order etc.; (6) whether the school is in the State free secondary school system; (7) the number of full-time teachers; (8) the number of part-time teachers; (9) the number of pupils; (10) the number of classrooms; (11) if there are any remedial teachers; (12) if there are any remedial classes; (13) the amount of any capital grant made to the school since 1972 and the year in which it was made; and (14) the amount/area of open play space, if any, for each school.

asked the Minister for Education if he will give the following information for the Dublin 2, 4, 6 and 8 postal districts: (1) the name of each national school located within the district; (2) the name and address of the manager; (3) the religious denomination to which the school is attached, if any; (4) the number of school teachers employed in each school; (5) the number of classrooms in each school; (6) the approximate age of the school (i.e. date when present building was built); (7) the number of pupils; (8) if there are any remedial teachers; (9) if there are remedial classes; (10) the playground facilities including football pitches, if any, that the school possesses; and (11) the amount of any capital grant which has been allocated to the school since 1972 and the date of its receipt by the school.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 494 and 495 together.

The information sought by the Deputy is not readily available and could be compiled only by the expenditure of an inordinate amount of official time which I would not consider justified.
