The present position in regard to the provision of a permanent extension to the vocational school at Athboy, County Meath, is that my Department approved the preparation of a developed sketch scheme for the project on 10 June 1982. My Department await submission of this documentation by the County Meath Vocational Education Committee.

The position with regard to the national schools referred to in the Deputy's question is as follows:—

Skryne N.S.: The question of determining how best the long-term accommodation requirements at Skryne national school can be met is being examined at present. The prefabricated classroom at Skryne was provided in 1975.
