Vol. 336 No. 7

Written Answers. - Social Welfare Benefits.

510.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare when a deserted wife's allowance will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Rathmines, Dublin 6; and when the arrears will also be paid.

The person concerned claimed deserted wife's allowance on 12 January 1982 but before a decision was given on her case she withdrew her claim as her husband had resumed living with her.

It is proposed however to have the case re-investigated to ascertain the present position.
