asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Kilrane, County Wexford.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Clonroche, County Wexford.

A house improvement grant cannot be paid in this case because the applicant did not comply with a provision of the Housing Regulations, 1980, (as amended) which requires the completion of work and the submission of a claim for payment of any grant due not later than 30 June 1981.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Ballywilliam, County Wexford.

A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been completed and occupied and that the conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with.

asked the Minister for the Environment when an inspection will be carried out in respect of home improvement grant works for a person (details supplied) in County Louth.

An inspection with a view to the approval of a grant will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when the first instalment of a mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dundalk, County Louth.

Payment of the first instalment of the mortgage subsidy will be made when the applicant submits a completed claim form, certified by the lending agency that at least six months have elapsed from the date of execution of the mortgage deed and that loan repayments in respect of the six months have been paid.
