Vol. 337 No. 1

Written Answers. - Payable Order.

468.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in up-dating a cheque for a person (details supplied) in Ballynoe, County Cork.

The payable order referred to by the Deputy was in respect of a payment of £296 under the beef cattle incentive scheme which was originally issued to the person named on 20 February 1973. Following the expiry of the six months period of validity this payable order was cancelled and a replacement payable order was issued on 18 December 1974 and subsequently cashed. In the circumstances the question of up-dating the original payable order does not now arise.
