asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in providing an extension to Coolnasmear national school, Dungarvan, County Waterford.

My Department have authorised the provision of a new prefabricated classroom at Coolnasmear national school, Dungarvan, County Waterford. The arrangements for providing the classroom are now a matter for the school authorities acting in consultation with the Office of Public Works.

asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in sanctioning a third teacher for the national school at Coolnasmear, Dungarvan, County Waterford.

This school has not as yet qualified for the appointment of a third teacher. Provided the appropriate average enrolment figures are secured for the quarter ended 30 June 1982, an appointment may be made from 1 September next. The school board of management has been informed accordingly.
