It is considered that the duties envisaged for the post in question could be catered for within the committee's existing staff resources, in particular within the framework of the authorised scheme for posts of responsibility. I am not satisfied that the appointment of an additional staff member to act as director of the centre as proposed by Tipperary (SR) Vocational Education Committee would be warranted.
