asked the Minister for Finance (a) the number of national parks at present in the hands of the Office of Public Works; (b) where they are situated; (c) the acreage of each; and (d) the number of people employed in each park.

There are three National Parks under the control of the Commissioners of Public Works. These are:

The public already have access to the Killarney and Connemara National Parks. It is hoped to open Glenveagh National Park to the public in 1984 when certain development works which are at present in progress have been completed.
