Mr. Naughten

asked the Minister for Agriculture when Smith's Estate, Boolytubber, Dysert, Ballinasloe, County Galway was acquired; and when it will be allocated.

Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Lenihan)

Possession of this property has not yet passed to the Land Commission; therefore the question of allotment does not arise at this stage. Proceedings for compulsory acquisition of the lands are at the point where the question of price remains to be determined.
