asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange urgently for the installation of a private telephone service for a person (details supplied) in County Kerry in view of her illness and the fact that she resides alone and is in continuous fear

It is expected that service will be provided within about three months.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when he proposes to install a telephone kiosk at Hollyhill shopping centre, Hollyhill, Cork as he indicated earlier this year that he would provide one and as it is badly needed in the area.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be properly restored for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin.

Service will be restored as soon as possible but this may take a week or so because of the large number of faults on hands. Arrangements are in train to change the subscribers telephone number to ensure a better service.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a public telephone kiosk will be erected at Thomas Keanes House, Shanahea, Kildysart, County Clare, in view of the fact that there is no facility there since the post office closed over ten years ago, that Clare County Council have agreed on the site and also that this parish has lost its post office, postman and the mail car in recent years.

Service will be provided as soon as it is possible to do so but it is unlikely that the necessary cabling will be completed for about another year.
