Proposals forwarded by Limerick County Council for revision of speed limits in Limerick are being examined by my Department. It was found necessary to obtain certain additional information from the county council relating to these proposals, including descriptions of locations and map references to enable drafting of regulations to proceed. When this information is available, I will be in a position to make revised speed limit regulations for the area.
