Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Service Pay.

12.

asked the Minister for Finance when a person (details supplied) in County Cork who was an employee of the Office of Public Works for eight years will be paid his service pay.

(Clare): Under the non-contributory pension scheme for non-established State employees, the person named in the question qualifies for a small pension in respect of his service with the Office of Public Works. The pension will not become payable until he attains 65 years of age. He also qualifies for a retirement lump sum which will be paid to him within the next two weeks.
