Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Agricultural Compensation.

12.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the compensation to which a farmer (details supplied) in County Galway is entitled, who lost 200,000 cabbages to the value of £5,500 in the bad weather and snow in January of this year.

Payments in respect of losses caused by the January snowfall are currently being made out of the funds provided by the EEC Commission. The case referred to in the question should be dealt with during the next month or so.
