Vol. 337 No. 11

Written Answers. - State Boards Personnel.

100.

asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will give a list of all civil servants and ex-civil servants in all State boards under the aegis of his Department; and the fees and expenses payable to each such person at 31 December 1981 and 31 March 1982.

There are three independent bodies under the aegis of my Department to which I, as Minister, appoint members. These are, GORTA, the Agency for Personal Service Overseas (APSO) and the Scholarship Exchange Board.

In the case of GORTA, a civil servant of my Department (Mr. J. F. Cogan) serves on the board. No fees or expenses are paid in respect of him.

In the case of APSO, a civil servant (Ms. C. Colclough of the Office of Public Works and a member of Comhlamh) and a former civil servant of my Department (Mr. D. O'Sullivan) are members of the council. No fees or other expenses are payable to them.

In the case of the Scholarship Exchange Board, no civil servant or former civil servant is a member of the board.

Question No. 101 withdrawn.
