asked the Minister for Education when it is anticipated that courses which lead to certificates of competency in respect of PSV drivers will be made available at the Regional Technical College, Letterkenny, County Donegal.

The organisation responsible for the conduct of courses for the award of Certificates of Professional Competence for PSV drivers is AnCO and not the Department of Education.

I may add, however, that I understand that the authorities of Letterkenny Regional Technical College would be prepared to hold a course this year for the award of Certificates of Competence in Road Passenger Transport Operations, provided a sufficient number of applications are received to warrant the provision of the course. Such course would commence early in November.

asked the Minister for Education the proposed development of the vocational school at Killybegs, County Donegal.

The provision of a new vocational school at Killybegs has been approved in principle. The new school will cater for approximately 300 pupils and detailed architectural proposals are now awaited from the County Donegal Vocational Education Committee.

asked the Minister for Education if it is his Department's intention to provide facilities for physical education by way of a sports hall or other alternative at Rosses community school, Dungloe, County Donegal.

It is the intention of my Department to provide at the Community School, Dungloe, County Donegal, facilities for physical education by way of an indoor area complete with changing rooms and showers.
