Regrettably, an unforeseen difficulty arose in connection with the telephone number allocated. This has now been resolved and it is expected that service will be connected within the next two weeks or so.

The telephone in question was disconnected in December 1981 for non-payment of the account. A final account which was issued earlier this year following termination of the agreement for service is still unpaid. The question of providing service again cannot be considered until the outstanding account is paid.

The provision of a telephone kiosk in upper part of Silverheights estate is not considered warranted at present. There is an existing kiosk within about a quarter mile at Silverheights Road.
