Payments from the Hardship Fund are subject to certain conditions, one of which is that, of the qualifying reactor animals in any given basic herd, the first two reactors or 20 per cent of the basic herd, whichever is the greater, do not count for grant purposes.
The person named had two such reactors from a basic herd of 28 animals and, consequently, does not qualify for assistance from the fund.
