asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if, in view of the facts of a case (details supplied) in Dublin 8, he will arrange for a priority connection of a telephone; and when a telephone will be supplied.

Service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that it will be possible to do so for about a year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of the urgent medical reasons for providing a telephone service for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 8; and when a telephone will be connected.

A survey is being carried out to ascertain when service can be provided for the person named who applied in September 1982. The applicant will be advised of the result of the survey as soon as it is completed.

An application was received from the person named for telephone service on 12 September 1980. It is expected that service will be provided within about a month.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if his Department received an application from a veterinary surgeon (details supplied) in County Kerry to have the telephone from his office extended to his private house; if so, the date on which the application was received; and when it is proposed to facilitate him.

An application for an external extension from his office to his home was received from the person named on 8 April 1981. The extension will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work can be completed until well into next year.
