The chairman of the Board of Management of Owning national school, County Kilkenny, wrote to the Commissioners of Public Works on 29 September 1982 stating that the heating system had failed and that he wished to have an oil fired central heating system installed. The commissioners will report to the Department of Education in the matter in the next few days.
