CIE have informed me that they propose to reorganise their existing services on this route so as to provide a commuter service and in order to achieve savings.
On the assumption that there will be no difficulties in the proposed re-organisation of CIE's services, I do not consider it would be appropriate to issue a licence to a private operator.
