I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that they have not yet succeeded in securing projects for their 8,500 sq. ft. advance factory in Newmarket and 10,000 sq. ft. advance factory in Charleville. In the case of the 8,000 sq. ft. advance factory in Kanturk the IDA have approved a revised proposal for Masticure, which involves the relocation of this project from the 33,000 sq. ft. factory. Masticure plan to employ 50 people at full production. The 33,000 sq. ft. factory then becoming vacant will be promoted by the IDA for a suitable industrial project.
