I assume the Deputy is referring to the proposed by-pass of Gort. Proposals for this scheme have not been submitted to my Department by Galway County Council and accordingly the question of providing finance does not arise at present. The time scale for construction of the by-pass envisaged in the Road Development Plan for the 1980s is 1986 to 1988.
