Vol. 338 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Written Answers. - Tralee IDA Office.

126.

asked the Minister for Industry and Energy if, in view of the severe job losses sustained in County Kerry over the past three years, he will consider setting up a full time office of the Industrial Development Authority in Tralee, County Kerry, to cater for the area.

Whilst the Industrial Development Authority have no plans to establish a full time office in Tralee, County Kerry will benefit from the proposed extension by the Authority to all other areas of the country of the intensive approach to small industry promotion pioneered successfully in the Mid-West Region in recent years by the Shannon Free Airport Development Company (SFADCo).
