Written Answers. - Departmental Appointments.

I have made one such appointment namely that of Miss Noreen Flynn, to the position of personal secretary. Miss Flynn will be on secondment on a full time basis from the Houses of the Oireachtas. The period of secondment will be for the duration of the term of office of the present Government. Miss Flynn will retain her salary as a secretarial assistant, the scale for which post is £92.20 to £157.79 per week by 12 increments. In addition she will be paid an allowance of £11 per week.

asked the Minister for Transport if any agencies, companies or individuals of a consultancy, advisory or publicity nature have been appointed by him or his Minister of State up to 26 January 1983; and if so, if he will give full details of such appointments in respect of remuneration etc.

No such appointments have been made by me or by my Minister of State.
