asked the Minister for Education if she is aware of the demand in Galway city for a school of music; and, if so, the action she proposes to take in the matter.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 978 and 979 together.
An application for approval of the establishment of such a school in Galway city has not been received from the vocational education committee. While such a proposal would receive careful consideration, I am not in a position to state what decision could be taken in regard to it.
