New National School Building Projects in County Clare
1. Offer of sites or site extensions awaited. New schools at Barefield, Bodyke, Quilty.
2. Feasibility reports awaited from the Office of Public Works. Ballynacally, Lahinch, Clonmoney, Lacken.
3. At early planning stages. New schools: Kildysart, Shannon V. Extensions: Ballyea, Ennis Boys' school. Kilmaley, Kilrush CBS, Lissycassey, O'Callaghan's Mills, Bridgetown, Killaloe Convent NS, Kilnaboy.
4. At advanced planning stages. New schools: St. Clare's Special School, Ennis; Inagh. Extensions: St. John's NS, Shannon; Newmarket-on-Fergus; Kilfenora; Kilrush Convent NS.
5. Projects recently at contract stage. Extensions: Clonlara (in progress), St. Senan's, Shannon (likely to start soon).
Note: With regard to projects at (1) to (4), it is not possible to state when building work may commence.
