Vol. 339 No. 4

Statute Law Revision Bill, 1981: Motion.

I move:

That, in pursuance of Standing Order No. 105 of the Standing Orders relative to Public Business, the Statute Law Revision Bill, 1981, which had reached Committee Stage prior to the dissolution of the Dáil on 4th November, 1982, be restored to the Order Paper.

We are only agreeing now that it goes back on the Order Paper?

And it will be dealt with today if reached. That has already been agreed.

So the matter of the Order for the Second Stage will be dealt with later?

No, on the Order of Business as read out by the Taoiseach, it was stated that these Bills would be taken today if reached, that the Bills being restored to the Order Paper would be dealt with today after No. 9 if reached.

In other words, if Item No. 9 goes on to Private Members' Time these Bills will come up in due course some other day.

Question put and agreed to.
