Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.

Two applications for house improvement grants have been received in this case. The Department's inspector has been requested to further clarify the position with a view to establishing whether the grants sought relate to either one or two houses.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.

The grant was paid on the 16 December 1982.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange for the immediate payment of a £1,000 new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

This grant has been paid.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange for the immediate payment of a reconstruction grant to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a £1,000 new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.

A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and the other conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Envrionment the position in regard to the payment of a £1,000 grant to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The applicant in this case has been requested to submit a revised plan showing the house as actually constructed. When the plan is received, the file will be referred to the inspector for investigation and report with a view to the allocation and payment of a grant if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a mortgage subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

A new house grant of £1,000 was approved in this case in May 1980. When applicant informs the Department that the house has been completed and occupied, an inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant, if in order. There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for mortgage subsidy from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position in regard to an application for a £1,000 grant from a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

A new house grant of £1,000 has been approved in this case. The file is with the inspector for investigation and a report with a view to payment of the grant if in order.
